I'm May Bailey, a freelance photographer based in Sydney NSW.
I've been working towards sports photojournalism in the last three years working for Netball Scoop as Sydney base photographer during game day of Suncorp Super Netball.

I also photograph for The Womens Game/Insidesports media during W-League and A-League season.

Working with Netball Scoop as a sports photographer it has open doors for me getting to cover the 2019 Netball World Cup in UK, and also getting photography assignments with Netball NSW.

I am also the main photographer for Clusterpix Photography, that covers all types of photography needs from kids birthday parties, milestone birthday parties, school formal, engagements, wedding, headshots and corporate events.

My biggest achievement as Sports Photographer was being selected as one of the finalist in 2019 and 2022 Women in Sport Photo Action Awards with Women Sport Australia.

Photography was always been a passion of mine just didn't really take it up until 2015. When I was travelling with netball state national teams that, I noticed there was no one to capture the moments or photos to share and highlight the amazing tournament. That's when I picked up my camera and started taking all of our teams action shots photos so we had something to reflect on the amazing tour. Since then my camera was always with me during sports days taking action shots photos.

The world of digital photography have more and more choices of new tech at reach its how you capture and tell the story of that moment is the art.
